Having it a bit east of 135E is good IIRC for baked AK.
Anyways that's just one piece of the puzzle. I do like the higher heights hanging around to our north like Will mentioned.
My guess is a Rockies trough looks good in the extended and the AK ridge should hold, maybe eventually retro west a tad? But if we can get poleward ridging that will help. Forcing supports somewhat of a Nina look.

There is a small room to work with. That s/w causing cyclogenesis is a big focus, but there is an ULL pushing SSW in eastern Canada. That tries to push this system ESE.
