  1. So if it's suppressed it's either a dry, but winter-like day or snow. Both wins. I'm all set with effing rain again.
  2. I got excited for a sec looping it for that reason. Yeah end result squashed...but man that's a solid look.
  3. I recall two other times this winter where the suppression word was thrown about.....only to have rain to the pike and Powderfreak showing fuzzy images of Stowe chairlifts through pounding dendrites.
  4. Lets get those srn stream deffy bands up here...the kind that goes nuts due to the confluence. Like BWI-PHL Feb 2010.
  5. It does look violent. But as I said before, I had to chop it down first because it was just too much for the snowblower.
  6. Well it was in the realm of possibilities, but definitely didn’t expect a gfs whiff. Northern stream is zipping along and does not allow the nrn stream s/w to phase in.
  7. Mind you this was before the V Day blitz.
  8. 9 years ago today started what was a long duration, but solidifying a stretch likely not to be beaten in this area. My best estimates were a conservative 30", but 36" was reported nearby. When the pack gets so deep it's tough to measure...you know it's special. I understand this did not impact many in CT/RI/S coast and even metro west all that much, but for this area, it sealed epicosity. Late Sunday into Monday really boosted the rates with OE and naked CF twister. I spent 3 hrs cleaning my driveway, deck, and part of my roof. I disappeared for a half hour to take a walk and absorb it all. As much as a disappointment these last two winters have been...I thank the good lord for being able to witness that stretch in 2015.
  9. Last two really. I was just talking to Will about this. I never expected much from this event...recall we said the first such event during this "pattern change" probably favored interior. But at the same time I'm just like..."can't something go right for once?"
