He’s been through some epic blizzards but doesn’t remember them. Feb 2013, Jan 2015 etc. Fortunately both my kids remember the Jan 2022 blizzard well. They think it doesn’t snow anymore. But I told them the winters of my childhood weren’t too different from this. It was awfully hard to have a snowy stretch. I said I always kept hearing my parents talk about the winters in the 60s growing up, blizzard of 78 etc. But I did tell them that maybe after this year it might change for several years going into a different regime.

Poor kids, I keep telling them stories about 2015 and they look at me like I have two heads. That’s my son on the left and his friend both a big Snow weenies.

We try to enjoy

I know. I took a look at the models this morning, and I just was like I cannot believe we can’t catch a break. It’s the same shit. I know exactly where this clipper is heading, groundhog day will rain and then once again we wait for more unicorns and ponies. I hate feeling this way but it’s tiresome. Just enjoy what little winter we have I guess.

I just mean the last two months of temps below normal and absolute crap snow to show for it.

It was like 24-26” or so. I wasn’t home for it and was all wind blown. Was best guess.

By mid Feb it’s almost spring anyways.

They had a lot of sleet. Slower melt there then here lol.

I’m sure it will be all rain at that time and then sun and 498 thicknesses in between.

Nothing is certain, we just don’t know. Maybe it snows, maybe it doesn’t?
