    Yeah the environment in some areas is quite good. The shear at 700-500 doesn't really get going until after 22z or so.

    Seems like the stuff late aftn is more along a srfc trough that could hang convection up in NY state and maybe into VT and NH (possible ext NE MA?) Then maybe stuff gets into NW CT from better forcing/cold front after 22-23z. I don't see much hope east of BDL-ORH/LWM other than a flash and a boom. The models still don't agree with timing, so if it is a bit faster, the environment near those places I mentioned is actually pretty good if we can utilize the CAPE/Shear.

    6z GFS looked drier and I'll take the under on Ukie QPF with a low that far south this time of year. Gonna need that low to come north. I hope it does drop good rains, but I have my doubts around here.

    Yeah there are lots of variables. In general warmer air can hold more water vapor, but then you need to consider if there are any hemispheric changes to ridging and trough anomalies. Maybe some areas get drier, and some of the typical dry areas get a little wetter. Who knows.

    Ok that's a little different than I thought. I thought maybe he meant those wild onion things that can have purple flowers. They come from little tiny bulbs.

    Both years had a pretty wet June and then we Steined. I think both had it earlier in the month. July 2019 was fairly wet, but I remember lots of near misses with convection.

    If it’s what I think it is, I think there was a product my in laws used to kill it. I’ll find out. They got it at Wyman’s garden center on 58 in Hanson.
