    S/w was still well offshore. Like others said, weenie extrapolation may bring the snows east some.

    Still can lead to a little SE ridging as a true -NAO is closer to Davis Straits. However, it helps pin the PV on our side.

    It's just an internal page. I don't think it leads to a SSW..just good to see it get knocked around.

    More of an east based -NAO...ridge poking into eastern Greenland.

    One thing going for us, is the lower strat vortex. Maybe Tip or someone with more knowledge in this area agrees...but hard to get a black hole near 500mb under a big ridge like that over 50mb. Maybe it can happen...but that image above, is a check mark that you want if you like more wintry weather IMO.

    I think there is a lot of details to work out, vs ptype at that elevation. So I may be lower than that based on the models disagreeing with the track.

    EPS is less amped and maybe a hair faster, but not far from the op in terms of placement. FWIW. Maybe cooler too as a result.

    I'd get a Pupu platter from Lucky Dragon in Ashburnham, and park there as tea cups fall out of the sky.

    That thing near the 11th is probably what really helps bring the cold well into the US. Sort of the period I am eyeing...after that. Anything before is gravy.
