  1. It's probably wrong with the s/w in the south, but that is wet AF.
  2. GFS and Euro at day 5 are so different from each other.
  3. We rain at various points all over next two weeks.
  4. Ryan said 495 in SE MA had amazing foliage. Probably the frosty weather bringing out the swamp maples.
  5. I know when we were in the office, we always wiped our stations down every time we left or were coming on shift. We had wipes everywhere along with hand sanitizer. I can't prove it, but it sure seemed like it cut down getting these awful office colds running wild.
  6. I know people who are feeling the effects too. It's not just fake news. I'm not one to live in a bunker, but it's a novel virus and we are still finding out specifics about it.
  7. I'm kind of bummed it's so early. Was hoping to have some visible in a couple of weeks. I'm sure it will still be good in the lakes region.
  8. I just mean the pattern in general. Quite different compared to what we had.
  9. Now I am confident. I'm not saying 6" of rain is coming, but that most certainly is a pattern change and a lot of us will get much needed rainfall over the next two weeks. #Scooterknows
  10. I'd say we drought by our standards. But, it looks like a pattern change starting mid week next week.
  11. Stein is dead after mid week next week.
  12. I did think it would hurt it and maybe it did in spots...but perhaps Will is right in that the ball was already rolling and it didn't matter too much.
  13. Nobody said it would cancel foliage, just that multiple nights of temps 20-25 probably may cause an issue. Maybe it’s only in the hollows and those in town where it’s a few warmer and on mid slope do pretty well.
  14. We have been living your forum name.
  15. Someone in the northeast is gonna go from Stein to mudslides. That’s a great heavy rain setup. It will favor west initially, but the front is a slow mover. Could have a low develop offshore too and bring rains to eastern spots towards day 8-10ish.
  16. Warm and cold stretches can prolong or hasten the season. The daylight loss is obviously the catalyst and main driver, but temps do modulate the season somewhat. Maybe 1-2 weeks at most.
  17. Probably have to wait mid week for anything meaningful. Some lighter rains possible Monday.
  18. So it's either flooding rains or Stein I see. Lines have been drawn. No room for those with common sense and choose a less aggressive approach.
  19. A little early to say who the winners are. But as stated multiple times on here, this is a good pattern to get rains into the northeast.
