    It won't be that far south. Sometimes when these start to turn into extra-tropical systems, the tropical models that help NHC with guidance, get screwy.

    He’s also limited by the terrain It’s very flat and surge problem. You need to be careful.

    This had Top end potential. Excellent outflow, moist environment, low shear, high octane fuel. Boom. And a lot of guidance showed this potential.

    Kevin gets a few hundredths of an inch of rain and acts like a washout. Yet we’ll get 4” of rain on the 4th of July at 64/63 and act like it’s a summer day.

    Yeah I agree, just noting currently. The outflow looks great and mid level RH looks good for intensifying.

    So far it quite can’t get the eye to clear out yet. It tries to shoot up hot towers, but can’t wrap around the center.

    And 5 miles away they’re saying what rain.

    I think this one spares NoLa the worst luckily.

    GFS not so bad for NoLA I think. Canadian, maybe close to worst case.
