  1. Cool thing I witnessed regarding fluff vs powder. Initially the fluff was melting on the street. But once we got baking powder, caved almost instantly. The more densely packed baking powder takes more energy to melt vs the air-like ice crystals with very little water content that are dendrites. Was cool to see.
  2. Looks like just under 3/4". SN. 26.
  3. Stuff in RI regenerates too. Hopefully fills in the slot.
  4. Also looks like winds are light N-NE now.
  5. We had good flakes earlier, but kinda dig the low vis finer flakes.
  6. Yeah it may get to just south of the pike, even here it will be close. But stuff regenerating in RI and that 850mb conv zone setting up nice near the pike.
  7. Steady light snow with decent flakes. 28.
  8. That stuff south of LI is progged to help give this a boost later on.
  9. I see a high of 31 at Chatham. I doubt they had rain in FMH.
  10. Some of you go by PNS reports too verbatim. You aren't going to get accurate reports in that storm.
  11. This showed up on my FB feed 6 yrs ago.
  12. Fade Friday and focus on VD. That has potential.
  13. Some of the mesos give Jimmy a departing gift.
  14. That band near Albany looks good for the shallow graves and up through the chicken coops.
  15. It gets worse every year, especially when the seasons don't work out for some. I feel like I do when I'm trying to solve an argument with my kids.. "I want 4-7"..." "No, I want 4-7"..."
  16. I love all the butt hurting when his or hers town isn't mentioned for getting the larger totals.
  17. Maybe into far nrn CT? I don't dictate what the models show for weather....I'm just saying what they show.
  18. Everything seems on track. I don't see any massive shifts. This thing isn't supposed to get going until lunch time. At that point, should see echoes really get going across SNE. Best cross hair sig has always been near an north of pike.
