    He was a good guy. Loved to really analyze the RUC, but ended up usually right lol. Younger guy a few years older than me I think. Kind of put things in perspective.

    GFS a little east of 12z. Still warm inside 495, but did shift everything east.

    End of ensembles looks like weeklies. Not awful, but not great. Big cold pool AK into NW Canada. Would be nice for the Atlantic to finally help.

    Not sure about heavy, but the chance is there. It just comes down to banding and dynamics.

    That's what I see.

    The soundings were sort of eh near the city. I would like to see the lift smack into the DGZ when the column is cool enough. You can see prior to the flip, there is good lift in the DGZ which likely helps to top down cool. But as the low intensifies, the lift lowers a bit. Maybe it bombs and contracts everything near the center. That would help.

    We'll need it to really go to town. Any showery crap near the dryslot and forget it. That storm had a much better airmass. Hate to see it.
