Both GEFS and EPS look good and the mean is in pretty good agreement. About all you can ask.

It’s not the surface high. Surface pressure patterns are driven by what happens aloft. The gfs has the trough sort of too positively tilted and getting kicked out with time. Tough to say what is causing it, but like many have said...these are the changes you can expect with each run.

EPS mean looks near the BM, maybe a hair outside the BM.

Starts off too far north. CJs are when coastal fronts are stalled. That isn't the case here.

Cold storm with a hell of a coastal front to start before it moves SE. Not sure you could complain about that run.
