  1. It tilted too, so the def zone was almost N-S. Really bizarre event. The only thing that saved ern areas, was the strong low level forcing. Not necessarily a CF...but it was really convergent at 925-850. Dry as a bone above 850 but unstable. So that forcing was able to get some upward motion going in the unstable layer and create a band of heavy precip. Not a common setup. On the other hand, almost everyone even inland gusted to 50kts.
  2. The EPS at the end of the 00z run started to lift heights in the PNA area as the EPO relaxed a bit. Hopefully that extrapolates to a more +PNA.
  3. ?? I didn't say that. The evolution on the GFS just is rather bizzare. It's tapping into that storm way offshore. I even commented on something near Christmas when Will and I posted yesterday. I think something could happen, but I wouldn't lock anything yet.
  4. If I know something is coming, I am excited. My body literally gets up to check Euro, and 6z runs. LOL.
  5. Imagine the angst if the Cowboys were in the SB. "Sorry guys, gotta hit the hay and run at 4:50am. Hope it's a great game!!"
  6. I love how I comment on guidance and I'm dashing hopes lol. I'd feel good near and north of NH border. That's all I mean. Maybe Kevin gets glazed.
  7. Well given that I actually look at stuff, it doesn’t look snowy for you. Looks better north of pike and esp near NH border on north. You’ll get some ice and sleet probably after a little snow to start and maybe to end. But it’s toasty near and above 850.
  8. Ukie still warm but who knows with that model lol. We’ll see what 12z does. If it continues then I’ll be more interested.
  9. Lower levels are an issue. Even with euro I didn’t think we’d get much.
  10. This is true. The man will go to bed at 9 and miss S+ at 1a.
