  1. The old Eric would have photoshopped a pic of myself and Chris on one of those.
  2. I think we could see 10-16"
  3. GEFS looked better next week.
  4. So BOX has the "official" snow climo for ORH right? And by official I mean, corrected. I always wonder when I see news outlets post about ORH snow stats. I hope they are using the corrected version.
  5. There was actually a dryslot in SE areas briefly with sun dimly visible. But it pounded before and then again after. Definitely a cstl front and CJ aspect in that one.
  6. That started it. I was gone by the second cutter IIRC. Just wiped out a 40"+ pack lol. I was also fortunate to go on our HS ski trip to Mt Snow on the last one. What an epic fail that was.
  7. Finally 2' with that after missing the Dec '92 event and the big Feb '94 CJ just east of me at the time.
  8. Today's starts the Bliz '96 anniversary.
  9. The mother of all thaws. Herald in by three, violent cutters.
  10. No way...lol. It started after Thanksgiving. Mid December on especially got very good. I had like 12" OTG that Christmas.
  11. It will come. Not until after mid month.
  12. Yep. All you can say, really.
  13. Next week seems alive and well to me.
  14. SSWs have been wonderful tools for exciting energy traders and moving those markets. The allure is starting to fade I think, especially when every year there is talk of stratospheric “something” and also the fact many of them aren’t successful for big cold in the US. They either don’t propagate down or can dump cold over Europe instead.
  15. Funny how these wax and wane. .25” and about 0.9” total but that’s also melted twice lol.
  16. Yeah could be. We had like 0.4” last night but they probably had more through the day whereas I melted a bit. About .7” total.
  17. It will wax and wane. Probably be just generally very light to light snow with a burst of moderate briefly. Maybe an inch in spots.
  18. Some of the snow melted, but another few tenths on cold surfaces. Feels like cheating...lol.
  19. You basically migrate the PNA to the EPO domain on the EPS. All the while having a Greenland ridge. So that Greenland ridge may help prevent those cutters that can happen with a big -EPO s/w diving into the Plains.
  20. That is a Miller B look for sure near day 10. Tasty.
  21. Oh I was just supplementing what you said and wanted to show the current forecasts. Yeah not sure what is up with the good ole USA guidance there?
  22. That is pretty impressive. Not sure what the CDAS stuff is doing.
