I was in Dorchester and went over to my Grandmother's to visit in Roslindale. Same thing. Get in and up a bit and there was about 3"+ at her house. Once you get on the west and southwest side of the city near 200' and higher, it gets sneaky good.
Ooof. I admit it was a tougher call near the coast, but the day before it started, things started to become clear it was a biggie even at BOS. Even where I am now had 2'.
We had one years ago light up the sky and sounded like fireworks cracklings. I thought it was friends of mine lighting fireworks off at 2am until I saw the tail of smoke still sort of glowing in the sky.
Well climo incorporates everything, but their record is like what....11 years or something like that? Definitely some decent years there maybe skewing it.
Yeah not the greatest stretch up there, but who knows. Maybe the short record up there is not a true reflection of the overall climo? You still get 100+” winters and 30”+ pack like it’s your job though lol.
