  1. The Bruce Willis storm. 6 years ago. What a pissah to miss, but it nailed srn areas.
  2. I actually have most of the radar loop from 3/4/19 on my laptop. Too large to post, but oye vey those bands.
  3. I saw pics from late March 2001 in New Ipswich NH. Had to be near 4 1/2’ or more.
  4. Windy and dry fuels above the soil.
  5. Goes without saying, but the true April pack I can remember was really just 2015. No surprise obviously around here with not getting a routine pack, but that lasted deep into the 1st week of April. Some protected areas did not melt until near mid month. But boy, it's amazing how rapidly things got going after the snow melted. Just a rapid acceleration into Spring.
  6. The Scooter knows.......exactly who you are.
  7. It's like that scene on superman when he throws them into the glass pane and sends them into space. That's what i want to do with those models. Maybe the Para too.
  8. It's the op run. Not sure I would lock it in. Nape on for now.
  9. We try to hold back the door, but that can be like a thumb over a garden hose.
  10. Yikes, Erin Go Diamondcutters on the GFS op.
  11. Not only that, it initially went into Europe and basically shut them down. But that part only lasted a week or so if that. Europe really was shut down way too long to be honest.
  12. It was insane. We literally had someone on my team just handling that volcano and where our advisories were drawn. It actually got political. We started cutting back our advisories and really went against what the governments there had over Europe. We were confident in what we saw on satellite. The London VAAC guys apparently notified the NWS to "speak" with us about how we were handling it. Poor London VAAC was getting a ton of pressure from the aviation industry. Those guys issued CYA advisories that made no sense. Finally (I think Virgin Atlantic?) sent a plane up there to where the government had advisories out to see if there was any ash of consequence. They reported back blue bird skies and pressured those folks to cut back the advisories. We FTW.
  13. SNE sleds while you get the tomato garden ready?
  14. Iceland is freaking out the aviation industry. Everyone has PTSD from the 2010 event. The latest volcano on watch is a more lava flow volcano and not the explosive ones.
  15. This whole season has not behaved like Nina it seems. I haven't looked, but maybe the tropical forcing is playing around with the Pacific and giving rise to some western ridging as modeled.
  16. 00z GEFS sort of had that -EPO look too like the EPS. Maybe some slight differences in details, but yeah that would work.
  17. Same type of deal here with those pics. Just stacked on the cars and a little wetter than what he had, but about the same amount.
  18. I know I said this yesterday, but honestly each run almost gets better and better there.
  19. I fumbled that one. Figured it was congrats freak up until the day before. And certainly did not expect that much snow.
  20. We had snow to start briefly, but then went to rain and sleet literally for almost 24 hrs. Back to snow late night into the 6th and got a good dump then.
