  1. It would depend on environmental pressure. So if you were near the center of a 970 low, clearly 970mb would be near the surface. In this case at KBOS...925mb is about 2000ft up. This is when it pays to have soundings to help determine the reference from millibars to feet.
  2. All of it won't. I'm not ready to go insane with winds yet...still a lot to go right in order to mix. I am thinking 60-65 here. But could see higher if we can mix.
  3. Wait were did you get that value from? Edit we pivotal mouse over.
  4. Looks like most get near ACK. Question is, do they get further west, or start tugging SW then.
  5. I wouldn't be shocked if it did, but if it sort of starts flopping around (think football going end to end as it goes through the uprights) each little lob heading west increases LLJ even well to the north.
  6. I've never had NE winds on these leafed out oaks. They are falling, but probably 80% leafed at least. We survived the other October sou'easters with 60kts ok.
  7. 75kts over my fanny for like 9 hrs. LOL. Jesus.
  8. Winds will subside a bit before rapidly picking up very late aftn.
  9. That’s probably it for awhile though. Should be just scattered showered with lighter winds until late aftn.
  10. HRRR is downright nuts. Seems to be more of a nrn outlier, but something to watch
  11. NAM is intense. A tad less than 18z, but probably more rain too.
  12. Bob’s wife is gonna be like The wife in home alone. Hitch hiking to Taunton with the New England Polka king.
