Maybe for you, but a few years back we had frost on Memorial Day morning up here in the Skook. It warmed up quickly, but it was cold at first light.

You may be right about Lancaster County. It appeared that areas south and east of me did get even more rain than I did... At any rate, the past three days for me went like this... 5/28 - 1.30" 5/29 - 0.63" 5/30 - 0.19" Total - 2.12"

I'm at .17" today and 2.08" for the event since Friday. As for the rain holding down temps, nope. I'm at 51.8° right now as opposed to yesterday's high of 49.6°.

41 is the new 31 now...lol Needless to say, I didn't have any power issues, nor did I have to salt the sidewalk or scrape the Jeep windows.

It's like a snowstorm. While I dislike the white stuff, I enjoy the tracking, and then want the highest total I can get if it's going to happen. Same with this historic cold. I didn't want it, but once it became likely, then I want to break the record. The fact that it would be recorded as a 50 is a bummer, because a high in the 40's this late is quite rare.

My high (so far) today was 49.6 so I suppose the "official" would be 50 since I believe the NWS rounds up or down accordingly.

Unless the HRRR is right, I might end up just under 2 inches with 1.91 as of 1:30pm.

Sitting at 44.8° here, but quite a few Ambient stations are down to 39 and change in the Poconos. Rain (for the event so far) is up to 1.69"

45.3° with 1.41" for the event in the gauge as of 6:45 this morning.

So far 1.20" here in Tamaqua. Temps are way too cold for me for this time of year at 49.3° though.

Lots of large branches and debris down along PA-225 a couple miles north of Elizabethville. Guessing a microburst there as well?

Missing the good stuff in Tamaqua. Line has eyes on Allentown/Fogelsville. That's where I'm headed with my last water load of the day.

We are in full on, wall to wall sunshine here right now. My backyard station has 83 with a dp of 66 currently.
