So my schedule is to arrive at my mom's house in Phoenix on Friday. Here's the weather forecast for both locations... Tamaqua: Friday: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 94. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Sun City: Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 99. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

It would probably happen. I was freezing at a truckstop in Palm Springs that February a few years ago when you guys hit 80. It's my general luck...lol

96 here as well. My high seems to usually come between 3:00 and 3:30 so not sure I'll get 100. I'm hoping, though...lol

We've got a considerable southeast breeze blowing here in Tamaqua at the moment. Still mostly sunny though, with a noontime temp of 90.

I'm kind of surprised at my low. For some reason, we got all the way down to 63 this morning after a high of 96 yesterday.

The two hour radar loop on the app I'm using is incredible to watch. It's as if there was a shield around the city.

All out windy downpour in Hometown (Tamaqua) right now. It let loose 5 minutes after we walked in the restaurant.

Up to 94 for the high now. I've over performed () all week so far...

92 so far today. Storms north of I-80 may clip me later.

Up to 89.4 in the backyard at 11am. Still 0.7 higher than yesterday at the same time. So far, the past few days, I've been topping my NWS forecast highs by 3-5 degrees. I'm wondering if I get a 95 today, and with that in mind, I'm also wondering if I'll flirt with 100 on Sunday even up in the cooler air of the coal region.
