  1. I was busy this morning shining up the Jeep for a meet and greet tonight. Now its time to soak up some of this rare weekend sunshine and tan up my milk white body, and hopefully eliminate my trucker/farmer tan.
  2. Yeah, I looked at radar while I was unloading in Fogelsville, and other than the wind, they (we) took a pretty decent hit. It looked like it pretty much stayed intact as it went through.
  3. Got a half inch of rain and a 7 mph wind gust today...
  4. I don't either. I was just going to post that, looking at the current radar imagery, it is heading right for the entire region.
  5. Yup, but it was cheap, so my grandfather bought it. Kind of like when we were teens, or at least when I was a teen. Black Label was a buck a quart, so we drank that shit up...lol
  6. I'm sure someone does. It would be cool to see some old names come back. Schmidt's, Rheingold, Bavarian, etc.
  7. I don't think Schmidt's is even in business anymore.
  8. That's funny. You closed yours because it warmed up, and I closed mine because it got "cold" once the cloud cover rolled in.
  9. Oh damn. Hope you recover and feel better soon...
  10. I opened ours when I got home from work. Two hours later and they all got shut...
  11. What else is new? Summer holidays we get rain/clouds, winter holidays we get sunny blue skies.
  12. I did that Sunday night. As much as I love heat, I need a/c on warm nights. Not that I'm complaining or anything like that, though...
  13. Watching that line as it moves toward Tamaqua, and it's doing what they all do. New convection fires east of town toward Carbon County and the Poconos as the original line dies out. Topography for the win (loss). The I-81 corridor in Eastern Schuylkill County is a bona-fide storm killer.
  14. Noticing an increase in a cool breeze here in Tower City. When I first started loading the truck 20 minutes ago it was muggy and still.
  15. As I said earlier. I just wasn't feeling it today. So many times these "severe outbreaks" are hyped up, and the we end up getting garden variety storms.
  16. So now my daughter tells me all of our local school districts are dismissing early due to the severe threat. I've never heard of that before.
