  1. No worries. By game time it'll track over Chicago.
  2. Not that anyone really cares, but yesterday's final tally was 2.42"
  3. Almost 7pm update... Rain so far 2.37" Temp down to 38.
  4. 1.60" so far, but the temp drop has begun. 59 was the high, but it's down to 50 now.
  5. I really wish it WOULD snow. I need an impromptu day off.
  6. The NWS really upped the ante for rainfall in my backyard. Whether the high end (4 inches) verifies remains to be seen. Tonight Rain. Low around 45. Southeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible. Wednesday Rain. High near 57. South wind 7 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
  7. But back to reality by the end of the week... Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 29. Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 15. Friday Sunny, with a high near 30. Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 17. Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 35.
  8. Oh, I believe your reports. Just on my way to work and my route to Allentown, I see temp variations as much as 5 to 10 degrees (and more sometimes) from the valley floor where my employer is located and the top of the Blue Mountain just a mile away. Inversions are powerful things. Quite a few times when I worked out of Hazleton, it would be 30-35 degrees here in the morning in Tamaqua, and I'd get up there and it would be 20 degrees WARMER.
  9. Wow! That's quite warm. Here in Tamaqua I'm sitting at 25.7 degrees currently.
  10. I remember that quite well. It was the day I was freezing my ass off in normally warm Palm Springs CA.
  11. The only good thing about early winter sunsets is that it's dark out at my 7:30pm weekday bedtime.
  12. 33 here and looking like it just wants to snow. Nothing on radar, but NWS says 20% chance of light snow later for here.
  13. @Itstrainingtime It really is sad. In my case the co workers in question freely admit that they are assholes. It's almost like a badge of honor to them. I don't get it. I wasn't raised to be that kind of person.
  14. It pretty sad when you try to treat everyone with kindness and respect, especially coworkers and so called friends, and all you get is pretty much picked on and shit on. Not sure what happened, but since I returned from Arizona, life's been pretty much a living hell at times. Sorry for the venting, but today's misadventures took the cake and I'm extremely frustrated.
  15. Ugh...this wind. I'm really beginning to hate the wind.
  16. Wow... impressive. I know a big tree fell across 309 here sometime between loading and delivering because I saw all the bark that layed across the road. Someone cut it up and moved it to the shoulder quite quickly.
  17. Are my eyes deceiving me or is that squall line weakening as it moves east?
  18. So far, Penn Dot is keeping ahead of it here as roads are mostly wet. Sitting at 34 degrees is helping. Trying to get as many loads as I can. If the roads totally cave, I can't run these permitted overweight loads.
  19. Snowing in Allentown at my delivery, but just wet so far. Other driver called me and said 309 over Blue Mountain is snow covered already. Gonna be a fun ride back up empty and light...
  20. It will be interesting to see what that line produces here, and when it'll hit. Hopefully it happens when I'm loading or unloading, and not while I'm driving.
