The low in Tamaqua was 4.1 degrees this morning.

That was Flagstaff, which doesn't count in Phoenix. It's been colder that normal here, but for a warmanista like me, a below normal day in Phoenix is better than a normal day back there.

Out here, we don't listen to Phil. We have Agua Fria Freddie.

Just so you all know, my last post wasn't laughing at your plight. It was directed at the scenario of a 15 degree high on Saturday, followed by rain and 40 on Sunday. I don't revel in your lack of cold and snow. I wish it were the opposite. Especially since I might be dealing with it again today up in Flagstaff.

I don't know whether to laugh at this, or cry for you guys. How pathetic... Tamaqua: Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 23. Blustery. Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 0. Blustery. This is getting beyond ridiculous. Nearly 75% of the days since November 1st have been below normal, and there's no end in sight...ugh.

Dipped just under 30 to 29.8 this morning.

Temps look slightly better for Tamaqua. Whatever accumulates should at least stick around and not be washed away by rain and warming temps as Thursday looks to be cold... Tuesday Night A chance of snow and freezing rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Wednesday A chance of rain, snow, and freezing rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 35. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Wednesday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Thursday Partly sunny, with a high near 28.

That's weird, but they say we all have one.

When I look at the models I zoom in on the region I'm looking at. It gives a more detailed, closer in look, and usually includes the county lines.

It's definitely been a colder than normal winter this year out here. I posted a photo from a golf course in Buckeye AZ in the CPA forum where they had a dusting of snow Monday morning. Buckeye is about 15 to 20 miles west of Phoenix and is considered part of the metro area.

Not much to add other than I was really hoping early on that this was going to be a good snow for you guys. It sucks that it doesn't look as good as it once did. Side note, I go to Flagstaff today, so I get to see the mountains of snow up in the mountains. At least it's not falling from the sky and travel should be decent.

Almost... Buckeye is about 10 miles southwest of where I live.

Nope...lol But I wouldn't have to go far. It snowed in some low elevations yesterday just 50 miles from Phoenix. In fact, in Buckeye, just west of town along I-10, there were flurries.
