The local guy up here who works on my house said that the Town and Country Inn in Shelburne is your best bet. That endorsement may be a bad thing or a good thing. There are some really rustic folks up here and standards may be different...
I stayed at Carlsons Lodge in Carroll about 15 years ago. It was fine but can’t speak to quality now. It looks well kept from the outside.
T&C is actually not too bad all things considered. great place to stay for a snowmobile trip

42 outside, 61 in the house with the windows open, AC units still installed.

Temps look really nice for the next 14 days.
Mid 70s for highs and mid 50s for lows, in general. Nice and seasonal.

stop starting these threads a week in advance and maybe you can make a better prediction than “maybe”.

In the case of convective forecasting (which is where my biggest strength is in forecasting), I love to start sniffing events up to 7-days out. There is no better way to learn more about weather than to spend time tracking potential through models and then watching everything unfold in real time. About 7-days out if I see any type of synoptic support for convection I'm intrigued and I will follow everyday.
how’d this one work out for ya?

When John begins the heat thread , everyone should have a beverage handy
For every time we read the words “Tapestry” “Opine” , “mortar”, “Cordelia”, “Nape”, or “Harv” we chug
I’m going to be hammered before the end of the second paragraph

Under control and confined to 1/3 of an acre. sounds dangerous.
I must be missing something.
