Worried....headed to Errol on Monday morning for the week. My parents rent the farm house next to the Buffalo/elk farm for 17 of us ages 18-74! . I hope to spend more money on fuel but looking like more whiskey
that buffalo farm is super cool. I don't know how many acres they own, but that fence line seems to go on forever. what a great area, although the low areas around Errol sometimes have a lot less snow than other areas

You have more snow now than you had last year at this time? I'm down 16" over last year right now

0.00000001" here. some might call that a dusting. a very, very, very light dusting

hey all! Heading up to Okemo next Friday. Looking like some rain with the cutter pushing out before we head out on Friday am at this point. Not too worried about that trip as conditions should still be fine. My question is for March 11-13 up at Stowe. Bringing family there for that weekend. Based on all the signs at a warm end to Feb, how's it looking for skiing conditions at Stowe that wkend? Im staying in townhome on the Toll House lift and praying they can keep it open then. Thoughts?
@powderfreakis the man to answer questions specific to Stowe

The in my backyard stance of this forum is ridiculous.
personally, I don't give a crap what anyone else gets for snow. I only care about MBY. why should i care if someone in CT gets a foot (or 0")? is that what you are saying?

Lol, etec is a bit of a pig. 1qt every 125mi

there has to be something wrong, because that is a LOT of oil for an etec. i had a 600 etc that would go about 1,000 miles on one gallon. You need to get that adjusted.

I’d be ok with that
you’d be ok with 2-4 while Ray gets a foot, like that map shows? Color me skeptical

Ended up with 2.6" total frozen, maybe maybe an inch of that was snow. My depth is up to 4 inches, but boy is it solid.
about the same here. no idea how deep my pack is, as I would need a sledgehammer to get through it. rode my sled around the yard, and it never came close to breaking through.

yeah, not sure I’ll be able to shovel my deck and walkway for a few days. disaster. Tractor with attached snowblower did ok on the driveway, but there is still 1/2” of ice leftover. this storm sucks.
~2” of sleet etc after 1.5” of rain. Good times

Where is here???
my location under my user name says MHT, so, MHT. the highway i was referring to was I-293 in MHT.

32* with sleet, and lots of it. roads are a disaster. I was behind a pickup truck on the highway that may have been going a bit too fast, but nothing crazy. he went to change lanes and started fishtailing. I thought for sure he was going to hit the guardrail and sling across the lanes, so i braked as much as i could without skidding. somehow, the guy managed to save it. He is probably now heading to the car wash to get the shit cleaned off his front seat, then to TJ Maxx to buy clean underwear.

2/8 seems like a long shot and not a great airmass anyway but who knows, maybe it threads a needle.
A larger scale signal is showing up around 2/12-2/14ish…a lot of guidance juices the western ridge and we know what happens a lot with that.
33 and rain?

We have somewhat course internal soundings, but the warmest layer appears to be 750-800. MHT area is a paint peeler 7-11z, and the warm layer is right around 0C by 12z.
rain prior to 7z at MHT?

No one said that, no one.
don’t you get it? if it’s not a crippling ice storm on The northern end of I-84 in CT, then it’s 50’s and dews, full pack wipe out rains to Maines

I was at a D last month but this month with the cold and snow brings it up to a C+. Ponds and lakes are all frozen and look to stay that way for awhile and there's a decent pack out here. Feb can either bring it up or bring it down, we'll see.
agree totally.

Yeah I think if you're GYX CWA you can't call yourself SNE for weather purposes.
I'd agree with that. MHT and ASH are southern CNE. CON is prob the middle of CNE, and Dendrite is probably the northern end of CNE-speaking only to new Hampshire part of CNE
