  1. Flake size was great too .. too bad we couldn’t move the system north east some .. reports of 4.5” in SENY heres MBY
  2. It was worse during the heavier snow between 7-8am. Still snow covered roads during school drop off isn't that the standard nowadays? We cancel for everything "out of abundance of caution" cancels
  3. All roads were treated here but still snowed hard enough for issues, lowest sun angle of the year helps. Interior SWCT was an easy call for no school. Once the rates pick up it sticks instantly .. looks like a lull til 11 or so then it picks back up .. right when Beacon Falls and Bethany let out..
  4. Yes all roads covered, at least two accidents in town, just drove my wife to work, elevation didn't play much a role until under 100' elevation... All schools around here closed except Beacon Falls and Bethany had school with reports of bus drivers pissed off with the conditions of the roads around 7-8am.. Snow having no problem sticking with the rates and temps 32-33.
  5. Snow growth and ratios are phenomenal here.. I do think the lift will weaken further NE unless in the IVT
  6. HRRR is lost on this as with other guidance. Earlier runs have me with 0.0" of snow at 9am, yet I have 1.3"
  7. I’d be right there with Scott if this was the other way around. He’s getting porked from every corner..
  8. 6z euro came north a bit with the good stuff, gets all of SNE plowable like 00z ..
  9. All roads covered, surprised by snow intensity.. 31.9 out everything white about .3"
  10. If you want sleet. It crushes nyc metro even gets 3-6” well into New England .. thought it was a great move by gfs stopping that south trend.
  11. GFS another big cutback barely any precip in northeast half of CT
  12. It's a white rain to a coating for everyone then some IVT develops for Eastern New England after sunset.. Just another model.. I think there will be some surprises when we wake up, hopefully they are good..
  13. LOL RRFS doesn't get accumulating snow into New England through 5pm Tuesday
  14. Lol you come back and the NAM pulls the rug out!!!!
  15. .3 - .35" from this area SW.. With generally around .15" East of 91.. I hope it's wrong just stating what it says
  16. New HRRR beefed up for SWCT, unfortunately has that screw zone for the NE half of CT and a good bit of MASS until the Norlun Wednesday AM..
  17. Crazy the Friday storm is in NAM range for 6z run tonight . Glad the gfs is the southern outlier . But 12 EPS does look kind of gfs like .. let’s get this north to include more of New England
  18. GFS cut back a good bit at 18z as expected.. has the “relative min “ from Waterbury to ORH
  19. Especially the 3 mets closers that were on the yankees roster in the past 18 months
