    Man it's hard to tell. HRRR is performing poorly, doesn't have this snow regeneration currently happening here.. You are def part of that screw zone for part 1 , hopefully you can grab an inch later tonight from part 2..

    It'll pick back up, you should get to 2-2.5" if it doesn't melt a little.. Guidance is much colder than it was so those that get 1.5" + should easily keep it for a white christmas.

    Roads were treated thoroughly in Seymour, just snowed hard enough to stick for 4 hours .. light snow now for a while it seems before we pick up around noon.. Sitting at 1.5"

    Odd little event.. The good news is for NEMASS, hires stuff brings in some steady snow after dark , hopefully can maximize accumulations where it's all snow..

    Guidance starting to show snow showers more consistently Christmas morning for the region.. I've never experienced snow falling at 7am Christmas morning, 2018 came just short as it ended before sunrise and quickly melted while EMASS got the best Christmas gift ever from mother nature..

    It was worse during the heavier snow between 7-8am. Still snow covered roads during school drop off isn't that the standard nowadays? We cancel for everything "out of abundance of caution" cancels

    All roads were treated here but still snowed hard enough for issues, lowest sun angle of the year helps. Interior SWCT was an easy call for no school. Once the rates pick up it sticks instantly .. looks like a lull til 11 or so then it picks back up .. right when Beacon Falls and Bethany let out..

    Yes all roads covered, at least two accidents in town, just drove my wife to work, elevation didn't play much a role until under 100' elevation... All schools around here closed except Beacon Falls and Bethany had school with reports of bus drivers pissed off with the conditions of the roads around 7-8am.. Snow having no problem sticking with the rates and temps 32-33.

    Snow growth and ratios are phenomenal here.. I do think the lift will weaken further NE unless in the IVT

    HRRR is lost on this as with other guidance. Earlier runs have me with 0.0" of snow at 9am, yet I have 1.3"

    It's a white rain to a coating for everyone then some IVT develops for Eastern New England after sunset.. Just another model.. I think there will be some surprises when we wake up, hopefully they are good..
