  1. Average in his area is about 45-50” he’s around 20-25” so far this season, maybe a bottom 10% season but not even close to the worst.
  2. It’ll all balance out, I have patience .
  3. I think we know who I’m referring to lol
  4. Just be glad you guys don’t live in Western CT. We haven’t gotten a widespread storm of more than 15”+ in 9 years while you eastern folks have racked up about 10 storms of 18-24”+. And I don’t want to hear about how you average more, our 30 year average in interior western ct is between 45-75” from south to north.
  5. temp down more than 14 degrees in one hour here from 51 to 37
  6. I’ve definitely noticed the Hudson Valley, but now sig icing showing up on the Rhode Island shore is just odd.
  7. What the heck is up with the NAM bringing sig ice to NYC and to the beach of rhode island and southern MASS, but most of CT not that much? It goes well south to the west and east of CT? Is that even possible?
  8. Euro dominating the cold push , 10am rtma vs fv3 which is the coldest model and euro at 10am.
  9. Correct the href fram output was ominous at 12z though. Already plenty of ice accretion with hours to go.
  10. No that’s what Im thinking you have more wiggle room though maybe a few hours with dews and torch while I may get 4-8 hours.
  11. Ya it depends exactly how warm we get too. Outta thread but I almost had a heart attack I thought I loaded the wrong map I thought it was hrrr but it was gfs at hour 300 and it has a major ice storm like 2” of ice. Whoops.. here’s hrrr
  12. Wow 50? 46 for a high here, the colder guidance was way off with that. Gfs was 40, euro spot on.
  13. Colder for freezing rain at end. Warmer for the Pack-Man eating snow monster.
  14. It’s been pretty good this year honestly. I want ice and snow pack just as badly as you do. It’s not looking good.
  15. Enjoy the pack while you have it CT folks! Hold onto it tightly tonight.
