Nice drink of water in the New Haven area this morning .75 to 1.25" of rain.. Steined here with only .29" but better than nothing.. Edit up to .41" after that last batch we take before the weekend heat..

I'm starting to lose faith in any heat this month.. All I want is 85-90 everyday with some humidity, is that too much to ask for?

Low clouds and marine influence will probably back west to about Tolland county and stall.

Definitely some bust potential with the weekend forecast. 12z Gfs is chilly for many on Saturday temps drop to 40s and 50s Saturday afternoon and evening. Only 45-50 for highs Sunday out East!

Ya going to have to water the new shrubs and garden and break out the sprinklers for the lawn.. Fairfield county is going to get a good soaking though..

Unreal looks like I’m going to miss about an inch of much needed rain by a few miles. Don’t see much rain the next week or so that will be 2 weeks without rain.

It’s been plenty summery in CT with daily highs around 80 which is above average with some humidity every few days. It’s def not mid summer heat but it’s been perfect out, pool has been in the mid 80s everyday for a few weeks.

Ya the 11th-15th would be like 0 to -1 on the average for BDL as the average high/low is like 67-68 those days but all other days well above average if that verified.

Ya I know our home stations are higher with all the vegetation , airports are around 60. But it’s def not dry yet. HRRR actually raises dews a bit through 10pm before we dry out.

Ya no heat but it has been humid as hell the past 36 hours . Looks like 77-82 everyday the next 10.

Got lucky here with 1.31” the last 24 hours man did we need it grass was starting to brown badly. Up to 4.75” since May 1.

Ya was a good heat day on the shore, I was only 89 at my house I’m not in a good heat hot location, highest ever in 4 years at current location up here is 96.7.
