Guess it’s the same down in SNE between ORH and everyone else around there.

Dripping off rooftops at ORH but locked up tight elsewhere.

Hrrr has an insane sleet snow line at the pike. Congrats Ray on the best event since Jan 2024.

There’s a pretty big area just sitting near 0C between 750-850 for many hours. Tough forecast.

It’s an inch + primarily frozen . Snow for you ice others

Not trolling you here. But you have to advect this in on NE flow over Wor county. You’re going to need a good low level push to avoid that annoying 31.5° kinda-sorta-not really ZR. I’d feel better on decent accretion in the NW hills.

18z euro starting to show the dendrite-drift on the high middle of next week.  That’s gonna be my new term for Quebec highs trying to nose down and ruin torches. It’s the high pressure version of the messenger shuffle.

@dendrite gets the honors since his area is usually first on tap to get screwed by these.

Hopefully a couple of James Bay jerks when I wake up tomorrow morning. But yeah…it’ll creeping a little too close to the county.

  5. Do you literally get no sun on your deck all summer or do you move the Davis onto the lawn during warm season? You always seem to be on the cool side and I see your temp a lot when I check mine.

    Now 47.9. 40’s it was

    ORH is 44

ORH is always cold and it’s in a sea of 40s. You’re surrounded by low to mid 50s.

    Cope.

We’ll just agree to disagree then . I’ve lived in this spot 21 years and I know how it works and the climate .

I have deep woods on the west side here that hold cold. Depending on the mixing this time of year I get some nice battles between warmer air mixing back down and the cooler air oozing back in. But even beside that, it’s common for temps to jump around even in full sun. There’s a reason why they put 5 min averages on ASOS.

  8. Well you have it mounted on a deck railing too. But I don’t think you’re far off temp wise even with the Vue.

But yeah….temps fluctuate quite a bit over a few minutes with uneven heating during the day.

They don’t drop under midday sun lmao. It’s semi shady on the Davis now vs when you posted. It’ll go back up again over the next hour as it’ll be in full sun again.

    Of course they do lol

With deep snow and ice pack yes. It absolutely is . Suddenly I dropped to 49.5 now under sun and warmest of day. Lol

    Temps fluctuate lol

Might be due to leaf out then. In his defense I have that issue too for a time.

I think elevations are a little more anomalously warm today. 50.2° here and I have a 9v fan.

Sun contaminated obviously. Let’s see when shade hits it around 4

    Lol

Your temp is always cooler than everyone else June and July but it’s sun contaminated in Feb and March?
