I am so proud of how far our country has come environmentally since I was a kid yet there is much to be done. The youth here haven't experienced the weeks of smog, the stench of polluted rivers, the color of streams being whatever die was being used. We have a lot to be proud of in innovation as well.  Americans lead the world in environment solution innovation.  Much to done but the sky ain't falling chicken

The human pop has gone from 2B to 8B in your lifetime. Even if we’re learning from our mistakes we’re becoming more of a strain on this planet.

Buf it would be nice if we could debate issues on a case by case basis without them immediately getting split across political party lines.

This song will probably resonate with every generation.

Folks round here largely prefer this new climate regime and if anything tend to move south rather than north.  Vanuatu might be screwed but a series of late 1970s winters would have people begging for the current status quo back.  Is it taboo to acknowledge that?

If the 70s returned I’d be the first one complaining.

Its unfortunate how such a topic has been approached and then conveyed. It is not about the science, unfortunately. This is what happens when information falls into the hands of the wrong people. I 10000% agree with you the globe warms and cools and its always been that way but the concern is the acceleration of this warming period. Unfortunately for something like this the best course of measure would be for one to conduct their own research and not listen to the media.

    The temp debates are dumb.

Just clean the damn planet…the land, oceans, and atmosphere.

Flatten the damn keeling curve and let the global temp be whatever it decides to be.

It snowed in places it doesn’t snow this winter. It snowed 40 miles off the gulf coast into the gulf of America…on oil rigs with blowing powder. Places that it never snows(places with 4” snowfall as all time records ) got a foot with blizzard warnings issued, and blizzard conditions….nobody saw that happening AT ALL.  And in such a large swath down there too.  If that was suggested, everybody, including me would have laughed at that.   Just goes to show that things change all the time.

It’s one random weather event. It has nothing to do with climate.

The hoax is not the Science it's the grift. The science in my mind is pretty good but flaws exist. One example is The NWS allowing 2 degree variance in ASOS temps. IDK that isn't sound science

Who cares about a few rando ASOSs? Some of the old data sucked too…like the 1870s at CON

They sure did…go ask the guy who wrote and put out the “inconvenient truth”.…He was quoting science.   The point is, the science changes all the time, and is massively flawed.  Big marches will be back as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

There’s extreme weenies on both sides. No sane person who knows anything about this stuff thought we would be snowless a decade ago.

I won’t get into it with you…but we’ve been told before by the science/and scientists in the mid 80’s and 90’s and 2000’s that there’d be no more snow in the northeast by 2015… obviously that did not happen at all.  The whole March snow thing going away won’t either.

Im a little older than you…I’ve heard and seen the science fall on its face many times regarding this stuff.  It’s flawed in a big way.

    lolwut

No one said no snow in 2015. lolol
