This weekend is starting to remind me of a few years back. A brutally cold Valentine’s day amid a sea of warmth. GFS is pushing -20F here at 2m.

We went the first year when it was at Loon. Took a random cold weekday night and drove up. We were one of the few even there.

If it was a meh winter through mid Feb and then we got a 20" storm in late Feb, some people would be saying it saved winter.

GFS and Euro are damn cold for next Saturday. Hopefully that's overdone. I was really hoping to sneak out of here without my bamboo getting any serious cold. It'd be a bummer to see it nuked from just one brutal morning.
