Euro is pulling 110/42 in the carolinas. Not happening. It’s overmixed like this before in the past couple of years. We all know the dews will perform better than that down there.
I think we also rush the season more and more. So when we get a May of warmth we almost come to expect it. But look up some of those Mays and early Junes of the past and it looks drastically different from this year.
I imagine them all gathering together this evening, looking out toward the western sky, as he informs them the sun is setting to the right about as far as it will go.
I get a handful of days every spring where we hold the fog and overcast until 12-2pm and then we break out into sun and still end up realizing 80-90% of our potential high temp. However the tall trees to my west start shading my fruit trees around 2-3pm so they end up with a high of 80° and only an hour or two of direct sunlight. Also my soil tends to retain moisture so that reduces the temperature ranges of the subsurface.
