    SW flow at 500-700mb yeah. Not down to the sfc though. Anyway, 1.8” here. Pack is back up to 6-7”.

    You have heavy snow with this? I mean, I know we overinflate intensity at times since none of us really know what the visibility is when making obs, but radar seems to be really lightening up in your area.

    Fully expected it with deep SW flow. That’s a downslope for the MRV. It’s a nice torch flow in the summer though. But without some backing to the low level flow these are relatively meh here.

    The algorithm just doesn’t like the temp in the initial precip phase for full nucleation. Look in the little right-bottom box. It doesn’t like -8.8C at 575 so it’s trying to form some supercooled droplets with the ice crystals. That would be snow though. But it’s d10 so who really cares.

    Min 23.3 with clouds. Only -2 on the day yesterday for CON. Feels cold, but still kinda meh up here when you break down the numbers.
