  1. Assuming He meant DP of 67, I come up with HI of 102. Pretty common in the July heat wave. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  2. OWD is 82/76, BOS is 82/74, MQE is 78/74. Why wouldn't would anyone love this weather.
  3. Went out for lunch about an hour ago and got caught in a tropical shower. Even the rain was hot, sticky and miserable. No wonder "everybody" loves this weather!
  4. Confirmed EF0 https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=BOX&product=PNS&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1&highlight=off
  5. BOS dew 59, OWD 60 (in that swamp), MQE 61. Torches just aren't what they used to be. MTGA!
  6. Nah, those trees wouldn't still be standing in his preferred world!
  7. Moths everywhere in our neighborhood in Randolph. Was hoping this year would be the end, but not with this many moths flying around. A few bare branches, but overall the canopy is okay. However I think there are way more moths this year than last.
  8. Dews still 74 at MQE and 76 at OWD! When does the front come thru?
  9. Last report from home at about 12:30 was 1.06 with rain still falling. Lawn and crops will be happy!
  10. We're about 1.5 miles south of 128 and less than a mile east of 24. On radar that area looked like ground zero.
  11. Wife reports 0.87 so far in the gauge and still coming down. Temp down to 71.
  12. Wife just texted and said they lost power briefly in Randolph. Crazy wind and deluge there.
  13. Definitely appears to have set in the last half hour. Either that or I missed news of an eclipse.
  14. Darkness on the Edge of Town has arrived in downtown Boston!
  15. Not sure what the criteria are for naming storms in the UK, but we were on the fringes of Storm Hector in the Peak District of England. Almost no rain here, but winds up to 60 or 70 mph on the moors. Fortunately there are very few trees to worry about.
  16. 79/72 in the swamp at OWD! The mosquitoes will be out for blood. Rode my bike home from the 128 station in Westwood, and had to stop for a minute to put on my helmet and backpack . . . had swarms of mosquitoes on both legs; had to be at least a dozen on each leg. Miserable!!!
  17. Top of Blue Hill in Milton, MA. Just off Route 128 and about a 20 minute hike to the top. Don't know if things will hold together that far east, but if they do you have great views in all directions.
  18. Sounds great! I was rooting for Huddersfield last week. I'm a Man City fan, but I'm hoping to get to a match in Huddersfield when I go over in the fall. Would love to see Liverpool at Anfield, but tickets are tough to come by. If you're a Beatles fan, you should definitely go to the museum in Liverpool. Spent a day in York, and it was a nice city. Went to Yorkminster and the Viking Museum. Had dinner at the Guy Fawkes Inn and it was excellent! Wife just texted that the weather in London today is about like here - cold, windy and rainy.
  19. My wife has been in London since last Wednesday, and had mostly sun and 70s. Rain and cool today. Where in the north are you heading. Spent time in Manchester, Liverpool, Lake District and Peak District. Love it up there, and planning to go back in the fall. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
