  1. Was surprised to wake up to 16 degrees at 5:30. Effective cold drain overnight.
  2. Updated . . . Editing Help Needed! If the price is legit and your skills are complete, I need an editor to go through my posts on AmericanWX and ground them in reality, there are sometimes 293 posts per day if there is a chance of flurries on Cape Cod, MA, USA, so it is legit fantasy.
  3. I've got no problem with salt when needed, especially on some of the roads I drive on. However, in our area they have been dumping tons of salt when it was obvious that either there was going to be no snow or the precip was going to be liquid not frozen. I have to wonder where some of the cities and towns are getting their forecasts as they are wasting money and resources.
  4. Seems to be everywhere I go. Commuter rail platforms have been ridiculous at times. Also on a lot of roads and highways you can't even see the white lines because of the salt residue.
  5. Never seen so much salt for so little snow and ice. For the first time ever, our garage floor is white from all of the salt water tracked in.
  6. OWD up to 66 in the swamp. Mud must be brutal. I grilled last night, and my back yard was a muddy mess.
  7. Didn't radiate at all in Randolph. High was 9 at midnight and low when I left at 6:30 was 8. Pretty much sat at 8 degrees for hours and hours. I guess that's what 225 feet of elevation will do.
  8. England is stealing our snow! Damn Brexit. Maybe I'll get to see some when I'm there in march. These are from the Peak District east of Manchester.
  9. Finally some fun. Howling wind and really low visibility for about 5 minutes. Dropped 6 degrees almost immediately. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  10. Nothing more than a light flurry in Randolph so far. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  11. A few flakes in Randolph. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  12. Yes, come over to the dark side, you know you want to!
  13. Huddersfield Town's Premier League season has been on a par with SNE's snow season. Both worthy of relegation!
  14. Ugh! Horrible match. Seemed like after they scored in 24 seconds, they just assumed they would win. Played really poorly. I'm worried that David Silva is reaching the end of the line - just has not looked like himself for the past two months. Hope I'm wrong. Heading over in March to see Man City play Watford, then Schalke in the Champions League. Hoping we don't finally see a snowstorm on March 7th! Go Leicester City!!!
  15. Nice. I used to love watching candlepin bowling with Don Gillis every Saturday. Some great bowlers.
  16. I bowled duckpins and candlepins for a few seasons and that went well since the delivery is pretty much the same. Only bowled tenpins a few times in my life, and I was absolutely horrible. Just couldn't adapt. Just to get things back on a weather track . . . drove back from bowling up route 24 last night in 34 degree rain. 50 minute drive each way for my Tuesday night league, so I'm not a fan of Tuesday weather events!
  17. Used to bowl on the duckpin pro tour (yes, there is such a thing) until a few years ago. That's me in the middle back when my hair wasn't a distant memory.
  18. Still drive to Rhode Island to bowl duckpins every week. Haven't seen a 7-10 since . . . . . . . . last night.
  19. 00.00 in Randolph, but a nice 5 degree temp drop in about an hour to make the commute to the train a blast. There always has to be one idiot on the roads - had one guy less than 10 feet behind me on icy roads; we get to an intersection with a left turn lane and he goes around me but continues going straight only to catch up to a line of about 10 cars ahead of him going just as slow as I was . . . hopefully he only hurts himself someday and no one else.
  20. How appropriate that it is from the 1980s!
