Heading to Manchester and London at the end of the month, so this is just getting me ready for what's in store! Maybe I'll get lucky and find an early English spring, if there is such a thing.
Heard a little pinging during the night, and then got up at 5:20 to 33F and rain with a wee bit of slush on the grass. So typical for this winter. Give me a blizzard or give me a torch . . . but I'm not expecting either.
Canceled soccer matches today in England, Belgium and Netherlands. That doesn't happen often. Wind damage and flooding in England with lots of rail service shut down. Glad I didn't pick this week to make the trip. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this sun of York;
And all the clouds that lour'd upon our house
In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.
Any thoughts on start time? I drive down route 24 to Warren, RI on Tuesdays to bowl in a 9:00 league. We finish about 11, and I'm not a fan of driving up 24 in the snow!
