  1. Didn't get to see that today, but what an amazing comeback. I'm still buzzing from Kompany's goal on Monday. One of the best I've seen. What a season for City and Liverpool. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  2. Sounds right to me. I remember it was on the 3rd floor because we had a great view of the quad.
  3. Was trying to remember which building that was in. Was it Washburn or Edwards? I was doing the forecast one early morning with Steve Cascione when we saw an arctic front with squalls coming in. Temps dropped about 30 degrees and there was a whiteout across the quad. Fun times!
  4. I'm staring 65 in the face. Seems like just yesterday I was sitting in Dr. Havens' Met classes in Kingston!
  5. Tent better have a heater later . . . OWD at noon Fog/Mist 48°F Humidity 86% Wind N 8 mph Wind Chill 44°F Ah, summer of yore!
  6. Pretty sure Scott was implying BN temps and well AN precip for all of JJA with two canes likely in August! Have to learn to read properly between the lines.
  7. And the weather won't be any better than April 30 . . .
  8. My 3 inches of rain in the past 36 hours begs to differ!
  9. Over 2.5" in Randolph. Waves of precip just kept coming in off the ocean and a lot of it was much heavier than it appeared on radar.
  10. Up to 1.75 now in Randolph. Still pouring. [emoji571][emoji2414][emoji722] Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  11. I remember seeing one asking her if she had a boyfriend. Seemed to be heading in a creepy direction. Can't imagine anyone asking a new male member if he had a girlfriend.
  12. From the Mount Washington Observatory . . . a yellow bellied sapsucker that definitely made a wrong turn!
  13. Up to 68 under sunny skies after a low of 54. Windows wide open! Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  14. 70 and sun in Randolph, so of course I picked this weekend to get sick. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  15. Lots of squirrels, a gazillion turkeys, and shockingly very little mud. Watched a turkey fly from our roof, across the street, and over the neighbor's house - never seen a turkey fly that far before. Actually saw a deer in our yard for the first time on Monday. Exciting spring time activity in SNE.
  16. Mild before I got here and mild after I leave. A few trees have blossoms as well. At least it didn't rain for my two City matches. Well, it did rain goals on Tuesday. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  17. Weather has been miserable in England this week, but at least the football has been good. Got a little break today and took the train from Manchester to Edale in the Peak District for a hike. Thought there might be some snow on the peaks, but instead there were daffodils at the pub. Fabulous place. Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk
  18. Well, we're not the only place with silly names for winter storms. Getting ready for storm Gareth Tuesday night and Wednesday in the UK. At least it is supposed to have winds up to 65 mph. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  19. Not much expected, but a little more coming tonight and tomorrow. Just cold, windy and raw now. My grandmother was from here, but I'm just visiting for football. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  20. Snow has started in Manchester UK. Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk
  21. Any recommended sites or apps for the most reliable weather forecasts in England? Heading to Manchester tonight, and expecting days and days of showers and mid to upper 40s . . . so typical England! Also expecting days and days of stouts and porters!
  22. Wasn't me, but we easily had 16+. Woke up around 3:00 and it looked like about 6" then. Got up at 7:00 and wondered WTF happened in 4 hours! Guess I should have just stayed up at 3:00.
  23. I usually just read the last paragraph I read until I come across something I don't understand . . . so one or two sentences on average.
  24. When we bought our house 10 years ago it was a complete rehab. We went with the fiber cement Hardie Planks instead of siding or shingles. Easy to paint, look great and incredibly durable! A little more expensive and you need to find a contractor who knows what they are doing, but worth the investment.
