Your station is a lonely posts of higher dews in a sea of lower ones. Lots of temps and dews in the 50s in Tolland Got to 51.7F here

That would be perfect timing for me for a big hot spell. Meanwhile, today was great for an extended paddle out at Tully Lake and Long Pond in Royalston. The wind made it difficult on the return trip though. Lots of great blue herons today

So far for the first part of Mehgust: BOS -1.7 BDL. -2.4 PVD -3.1 ORH* -0.4 The old chart verified pretty well The rest of the month should bring those up

It is brutal in July and August in general there. Add a few more degrees and the misery increases. Avoid the parks mid day. Head back to the resort and pool. Take a nap

My last 90F temp was June 2

We went over this a week ago or so. July had the “hottest” average daily temp But the daily highs were nothing special. It was driven by very high daily lows that continued unabated. Moist air retains thermal energy pretty well
