  1. Yeah...I noticed the cicadas buzzing for the first time yesterday. Right on schedule
  2. Yesterday was the 43rd anniversary of Hot Saturday. I hope everyone observed it appropriately.
  3. Was hoping for a 90 here. 85 was the best I could muster. Too many clouds. Nice pool day July was hot and humid here but no record breaker
  4. BOX seems to like Western MA/ CT for tor threats Where the front pushes to seems key
  5. In my hood they are pretty much it for choices for Internet. Reliability hasn’t been too much of an issue. I wish it was cheaper, but not much to lessen it right now
  6. They have shown poker for years... Wouldn’t mind a few shots at 90F here over the next 2 weeks. Have not touched it since early July
  7. If high dews brought in severe, I could see it. But mostly it just brings swampazz. My electric bill will continue to suck
  8. Absolutely. The 0.1F is prob not correct. Not sure what the current data has it as. The second part of my sentence was def more loquaciously started by you.
  9. Well, the data suggests temp changes are largely imperceptible on the human time scale for the most part. I’m not totally sold on that’s idea, but a 0.1F rise over 15 years is not really something I feel, but the impacts on the environment will become more noticeable.
  10. Mookie! we still use cable, internet and actually have a landline phone through cable. Our cell service at the house is awful, although we get very few phone calls...basically my mother in law. I would drop cable and phone in a second, but other forces at work, plus the Red Sox
  11. I would put my hood at above normal for temps and much above normal for precip for the months of June and July. Above normal for humidity, largleg due to last week
  12. If it’s yellow, let it mellow....if it’s bdown, flush it down
  13. Lol. We had parked the ‘yaks at the beach and frolicked for a little while before heading back. Back at home and having the best thunderstorm of the season now.
  14. At Narragansett beach now (kayaking on the Narrow River) The water is incredibly warm
  15. Actually opened up the indows and shut the AC for the first time since...Saturday night? I forget. Not really dry, but temps below 70 and dew isn’t insanely bad
  16. Mass I think averages 3 per year. I think these have been the only 2 so far in the state? CT has done well. Not sure about RI
  17. Easily. A place in Western MA had over 4” just yesterday. Can’t recall where
  18. Just boatloads of water in Maine No flooding in my hood. Just slow dripping
