  1. CT Blizzard likes the dews. Most people in New England probably don’t. Many people on this board like cold temps. Most people in New England don’t.
  2. She got lucky. The poison in mushrooms will not tarnish silver. People have died from this mistake
  3. Where our son is (Moab) it was 106/41 today. Humidity in the teens.
  4. It can be brutal. In my old profession we had to do physically demanding tasks in protective gear sometimes in hot weather (and in brutal cold). The heat was the worst and we always had to watch for signs of heat stress.
  5. Was watching distant lightning light up the clouds from that system to my west. Love that. Glad to have had some of this miss us today

  11. It sure if my lawn will ever dry out enough for me to mow...soggy
  12. I had been primarily running AC due to humidity lately. The heat has not been too bad since early July, but very high dews
  13. I have that fear here. This rain is fooking ridiculous. Just goes on and on and on like days of yore. Meanwhile, our son is in Moab, UT where it was 107F
  14. We got to experience 57F and no wind on the Rockpile this afternoon. Hadn’t been on that summit since I was 13. Saw a wedding on he main deck. Cloudy, but not bad for that place.
  15. Wow at your 89. KFIT looks like it only got to 84 (unless they snuck in something between hours).
  16. Our 17 year old son is in the Colorado/Utah area for 10 days with his scout troop. They were supposed to be at the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, but a fire closed it down for the season. Instead they are hiking, driving around, white water rafting, etc. they drove up Pike’s Peak yesterday (14k+ asl). It was 34F at the summit.
  17. Prob over another inch again (similar yesterday) based on pool overflow. This is ridiculous.
