A good day. i suppose I should get some grading done. Annual grade field trip to state forest with swimming tomorrow. At least I won’t be in my classroom. Hope you had a good Father’s Day.
  7. It doesn’t take much to total a car, even if it has a decent value
  8. Agreed. We had 8 red efts (the little salamander dudes- actually newts) on our walkway and garden trying to get any moisture. I’ve never seen that many at once
  9. 67F max dew at KFIT. Temps were low so not real bad. A breeze, too. Just a bit muggy
  10. Dews are mid-60s here at work (based on KFIT's last report)... might add a degree or two. Def noticible in my building. Better than yesterday when we had a major plumbing issue and the entire building reeked of sewage. Neat
  11. Blustery evening here. One damp day tomorrow, some heat Sunday/Monday pollen talk...it’s been bad here but letting up
  12. Another thing that might have affected how people judged May was the first few days were absurdly hot (+20s). While there were certailing many more AN days, nothing else was close
  13. COC stretches on for another week, but beyond that it looks pretty warm
  14. On a FB weather page I am on, someone from ME (not sure where) hit 33F this morning and was complaining that there were no frost warnings issued
  15. Jeez...looks like late July or August in that pic... burned out
  16. I just use a walk behind...(self propelled). Not sure I need a riding one, but they are nice, especially if they have a big bagger. Anyway, I won't be minding these moderate temp days until school gets out
  17. Devil in the White City is excellent as well. The Garden of Beasts was a difficult read for me...very disturbing as you stated
