  1. Went out to grill dinner. Even though I had been out and about during the day and had done a 2.5 mile walk with the dog after the Pats game, I felt a bit chilly. Awesome!
  2. A coworker of mine posted info about them on a FB beer page we are on (Hoppily Ever After). Ticket releases that people hear about on Instagram and you pick it up at their house. Siberian Kiss Imperial Stoutw maple and espresso 11.5% ABV. Nice! Actually, they use Eventbrite. Their next release is sold out
  3. Models and forecasts looking like mid to upper 70s here. I doubt I tickle 80, but the swamp is real.
  4. Ouch that stinks. In the long run it hopefully will be a good thing
  5. Same here. Dunked in a bit on Thursday in between thunderstorms. We done. i would not call this past summer fantastic here. Lots of yuck
  6. 51.5F here. NWS forecast is for 45. Not bad to drop almost 50 degrees in a couple of days
  7. I’ve had several of Hill Farmstead’s offerings at restaurants. Really, really good
  8. Their pours are rather pricey. I think it was $34 for 4. $8.50 a pop. Wachusett Brew Yard (not as good, but lots of choices, some fairly good) has $5 pours
  9. I considered getting a couple of bottles of that. I was being a cheap idiot and was like “$11 per bottle...no way!” My much smarter wife reminded me on the drive home that I paid $15 for a pint of freakin Killian’s at a concert at TD Garden in June. Dwope!
  10. Wyman’s is an excellent store. I go there sometimes. If I could buy TH in a store I would. I can pretty much walk into Stone Cow or River Styx, both of which are very close, and get pours or cans.
  11. I do like that the cans are not insanely priced. $3.50ish isn’t bad. We got some Bear and Julius. I could see going on weekdays early to grab cans, but it was a 45 minute drive. Beautiful facility. Great dogs
  12. Hm. I hadn’t heard of them before. A bunch of tiny breweries popping up in these hills. Will need to investigate.
  13. I am really not sure they are worth the time and energy. Other local breweries put out product of similar quality
  14. In line now for second pours. 3:20 now. Got in at 2:30 for this line. Earlier it was less
  15. At Tree House. Meh. Decent but the lines and hassle aren’t worth it
  16. Like Ray has in his blog, the GA coast is a climo hole. Hard to get a storm to thread a needle like that. I’m thinking 50% ish chance of a Carolinas hit, 45% OTS, 5% other...
  17. Not always. My neighbor’s house (well, once it was his shed) has been hit twice. No fire. Electrical damage and some scorching
