  1. Maybe make a long version and a short one? I enjoy reading up on your reasoning and the background. I don't always understand it but I try
  2. My wife and I have discussed... our stress has been through the roof due to the 'vid
  3. Oh that's awesome! I just mentioned him because there was an article about Bull Spit that talked about him in the local rag (Gardner News). We have not been there yet but hope to at some point.
  4. My feeling is that 95% of all people are decent, hard working folks that like to have some fun. There are loud mouths on either end of all spectrums, political, sports, etc who make a ton of noise and are attention seekers. I don't really see how VT areas especially will be able to have a "good" season with the travel restrictions, but they might be needed. I did join that group just to read. I won't post or respond in there. It mostly seems fine, but I can see why you would feel the way you do.
  5. Do you know the head brewer at Bull Spit? I guess he had been at LEfty's (I miss them) and BBC for a bit.
  6. ORH has been warm (+1.5F) and wet (+1.13") so far this month. Decent warmth through Saturday at least. We enjoy
  7. Round two ongoing in Mass. 827 new cases reported. But don’t listen to those idiots
  8. I don’t partake in Canabis but have no quarrel with it being legal. Just the same caveats as alcohol. Don’t drive impaired. Don’t over do it. Don’t do it in front of the kiddos if possible. And please don’t come to parent teacher conferences stoned/drunk
  9. We got a mailing from Smugg's the other day. How can a Mass resident even stay there and follow the rules?
  10. 28.4F for the morning low. Lots of frost, but awesome to walk the dog
  11. 6” in ORH in October is always 100% bad
  12. Yeah. That looks like 1-2” for Phin. Nice way to start
  13. 3-4” in Jefferson NH. Santa’s Village has a delayed opening
  14. This year sucked for lawns and if your well went dry it blows. Maybe some farms suffered a little. But other than that, no big deal.
  15. In the 1960s drought the Quabbin dropped to 45% of its capacity. In the mid 1980s drought it got to 65% This year it stayed near 95%+. Meh Edit. It was at 90% Oct 1st. Still meh
  16. I would love to know why this happens. You have been a good keeper of record of this almost annual occurrence.
  17. Yeah. I tend to have to mow again around the of October most years. Even into November
