  1. Imagine if that happened on the same date? Lol. Hot Saturday! And Cold Saturday in one date Of course that Colorado record is not the al time state record but pretty neat
  2. I saw that a place in Colorado achieved a daily record low temp and daily record high temp on the same day July 10 https://www.denverpost.com/2020/07/11/alamosa-colorado-record-high-low-same-day/amp/ It also happened 3 times at that location back in August 2002.
  3. It will prob end up 2 days with highs 78-81, two days with highs mid 80s. Lows 58-59 two days , lower 60s the others. ORH
  4. Didn’t get to below 70F until around 4AM and evening then only hit 69.0F. Prob warmest night of the year so far. Good news for the pool
  5. It actually ticked down a bit this afternoon. 1.01 from 1.06. Had been 0.9 for a while https://rt.live/us/MA breezy warm evening. This is great
  6. R naught has been creeping up. That’s not good. Good pool and brewery day today. We hit up Timberyard again. Great smoked pork shoulder. Also, all 4 of us had the antibodies test done a few days ago, negative.
  7. We have an 8K window unit in our family room and it keeps the whole downstairs level (1200ish square feet) comfortable. We have small 5k units in each of our upstairs bedrooms.
  8. 0.25” event total. Mostly yesterday during some downpours
  9. We are approaching peak deer fly season here. Holy smokes they were bad this morning
  10. Got to 89F. Worked some more on the pool deck and was drenched in sweat. But the upside is that we can jump into the pool more easily.
  11. I’ve seen snow in August at the bottom of Tuckermans. Not skiable but there.
  12. Yup. We have several. I always use them when walking the dog. So satisfying to hear electric death
  13. 90/60 is preferable to 84/69 for me. The deer flies will be loving it
  14. Big heat this week looks meh around my house at least. I was hoping for some 90s Even upper 80s looks in jeopardy
  15. Dew point here bottomed out at 58F. Temp got to 59. After today it will be a while...
  16. 85F for the high here. Should be a nice warm to hot week. Hopefully I can break 90 for the first time this year. End of the week looks promising
  17. The leaves are getting that leathery look. Wood smoke is in the air...
  18. That’s a tough thing to achieve in New England.
  19. I don’t think they will be widespread. Random popups.
  20. Out here in my rural area I hadn’t really heard any until 7/3. Last night was actually quieter than some other 4ths. In more urban areas people have been going crazy since May with them. I love them in the right place and time but it was a bit ridiculous lately
  21. There was a lot of garbage being shouted. It had useful info for quite a while but some people spoiled it. I wish it wasn’t deleted though. Murky here but typical July humid morning
  22. This is why we can’t have nice things. The longest thread in AmWx history had some great info shared in it. Thanks to all who stayed above the fray.
