    Household has waste collection is pretty expensive for most cities. At my old job we would sometimes get hired to run those. I hated the once per year ones. Some communities (rare) are able to fund year round ones but it is pricey. It’s all hazmat and is done much differently than regular municipal waste. But check with your local board of health. They might have some options available to you.

    Last season little Wachusett was the first in the Northeast to open somehow. I don't see that happening again. They are also still sold out on Season Passes, except limited numbers for school groups. I hope they can open that back up. Lots of disgruntled former pass holders right now

    I mistakenly posted an Oct obs in the Novie thread. I eventually got to 29.0F on my cheap thermo. Heavy frost. Nice to see the glint of frost while walking the dog in the dark via a headlamp

    That’s nuts. Since the ‘08 Ice Storm I have only lost it a couple of times and those have been less than 15 hours each (one was a lightning strike, one was a squirrel) I guess I’m due?

    We got the nice event last October with snow and I still had an above avg winter wrt snowfall. It is usually a joke about the Oct storms.
