  1. It has rained every single ski club night for me. Last one tonight
  2. I saw 80F on the Mass Pike in Allston that Feb
  3. Lol. I can’t remember my high school physics teacher at all. I remember bio, Earth sci, Chem. But not physics.
  4. I do miss the rumble of the town plow going by at 2AM. And the way the sky looks during a nighttime heavy snow. Still some “winter” to go Won’t wish away the time.
  5. This thread is still around for those who need it. Let it all out.
  6. Some snow still in my yard in shaded areas. But it is almost gone. There are two houses in my little neighborhood that have groves of pines to the south/southeast. They have close to 100% coverage several inches deep. But anywhere the sun has hit it is gone
  7. Was that one of the FHS teacher’s names? Sounds familiar but I didn’t have him if so. My chemistry teacher was out for the year due to some health issue, so we had some young kid as a year long sub. He also worked in the state forensics lab and had some awesome stories.
  8. Yeah. When I was in school 40th years ago (holy crap) kids would call them into try to get out of a chemistry test or something. That never materialized
  9. Yep. As I’ve driven around more the extent of the damage from those twin snow events is quite evident.
  10. Two things. 1) Kids did similar crap when I was young, bomb threats. But no one took them seriously. Today they need to respond to each one which is a huge waste of time and resources and risks other things going sideways. 2) Your post repeated itself two hours later. Weird
  11. That March 1 deluge will somehow verify though
  12. Our school just got swatted. We live in the the dumbest of times
  13. If it gives me reliable cheap fast internet, I’m in. Eff the planet
  14. You mean 100+" at BHO in a couple of weeks isn't likely? That must have been something to witness
  15. Lots of folks on the local pond near me yesterday. No clue how thick the ice is but they seemed to be having fun
  16. Any event where hallucinations kick in has to be fun
  17. One of my former students (Noah Gray) is playing in the SB for KC
  18. Once the snow around here melts and it dries out I can enjoy it somewhat. In the meantime, it is one long messy period
  19. It is looking like a mini version of that for sure
  20. If anyone is looking for something good to watch, try “The Rescue”(2021) on Disney+. It is a documentary about the rescue of those soccer kids who were trapped in a cave in Thailand in 2018. Amazing bravery.
  21. Yeah. Saw that tweet earlier today. The last two years my students have not had good conditions. There is still plenty of “snow” but it is compacted manmade stuff
