    Thursday is my 6th and final school ski club day. We’ve have rain on 4 of the previous 5 and I postponed one due to rain. So 5 or 6 Thursdays it has rained and now a torch 60s day What fun

    Quite a bit of fog in my area this morning. Snowpack starting to get that Swiss cheese look. Still had snow on part of my roof when I left. Should be gone by this afternoon.

    I do like the look of a big ice storm. But I hate the glazes like today and of course the damage caused by big ice events

    I think OceanStateWx was out trying to launch some weather balloons to see if he could make it snow. They wanted to shoot down some balloons...

    Sometimes it is the same bird, but they have a different call depending on the season. Chicadees for example have seasonal calls

    My son’s troop was going to do that. They did fundraising, training etc. then Philmont had a bunch of wildfires and they had to pivot and they put together a SW trip.

    Sometimes a home heating system can’t keep up or if the home has poor insulation. I think the water supply lines to our washing machine might be frozen. Where they are is poorly insulated based on my looking at the situation.

    Difference in measuring might play a role in that too. We’re they clearing a board every 6 hours in 1978?

    My weather station is on a windowsill in my kitchen. That gets pretty cold.
