  1. Dew of 73 here over the mulch beds... tropical doodle-dew
  2. Maybe that Great Barrington magnet will be turned on for this afternoon
  3. Screen porch ftw here. We had a deck. For almost 20 years and rarely used it. We use the screen porch almost daily from May to September. Shaded. No bugs.
  4. Long stretch of heat and dews incoming. Took its time. CoC takes a seat for a bit.
  5. With the breeze, sitting on the screen porch is pretty tolerable
  6. 85/63 here. Perfect for the pool. Bright blue skies
  7. July 17 2022. Return of the Swampazz
  8. That was on the Harrington Trail on the backside of Wachusett Mountain. There is an overlook that gives views of the Princeton Municipal Light Dept’s turbines. We walked right past them hiking
  9. Glad we don’t live there. Dews are up but still got to 57F this morning
  10. Heavy heavy drought in central Mass this morning
  11. Our plan is to hit 4 National Parks. Rocky Mountain, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde, and Great Sand Dune. A couple of 6 hour driving days and sleeping in 4 different places. Also hoping to do the Durango-Silverton train (wife spent a semester in college in Durango), Pike’s Peak, and Garden of the Gods. Plus assorted breweries I’m sure
  12. The summer of CoC is coming to an end Summer dews will be something to deal with for a bit. Today is a top 10'er
  13. Even the early 2000s we got nailed a bunch.
  14. Some years we seem to be a magnet for them. Lately it has been a dud. I’m not a huge thunderstorm fan when they are near my house. Trees. Gravity. That whole bit
  15. Love seeing features like this on live radar.
  16. I recall when she initially went missing. Always seemed odd.
  17. I can easily summit the lofty peak of Wachusett Mountain and survive. Those 14ers are nothing
  18. Edit. Maybe just Longs Peak? Anyway. Keeping clear of the summits.
  19. Yeah I think the highest point on Trail Ridge Road is a bit over 11k. Some of the peaks are over 14k but we won’t be on them.
  20. Maybe but I think this is more SE of us. Although I was totally surprised about the 2AM deal we got
  21. I have a family history of heart stuff, high blood pressure, and am in my mid 50s. We prob won't be doing any strenuous hikes but I might pick up a couple at Walmart near Denver Parts of Rocky Mountain Nat Park are over 10k feet, Mesa Verde, Black Canyon, etc are pretty high. Plus Pike's Peak
