Wife reported a nasty drive through Winchendon and Templeton this morning on the way to work

Just a light glaze can really cause problems, but I do not see an ice storm as I would call one. Is there an official criteria for "ice storm"?

It’s fine to point out the actual model runs, lack of substantial or interesting systems, etc. but the ad nauseam whining got old a long time ago.

Weather wise I would give my hood a C- Decent snow (14ish inches). AN temps but enough cold to give me a white Christmas and for snowmakers at my hill to get things done.

We just looped our dog around the neighborhood. Temps are good but the winds kinda suck. Our road is a disaster as usual. The cold then thaw and rain do not help matters.

The amount of small branches etc that came down on the 23rd is staggering At least I can clean them up

I did see some people ice fishing on a local pond near me. That was just for one day though. Lots of thin ice and open water

Went for the first time this season last night. The amount of snow they made at Wachusett was very impressive. They really took advantage of the cold snap we had. Can't recall the last time I saw so many whales of that size. The skiing was fun, nice and soft. Plenty of trails open but kinda narrow in cases.

There is some snow left right now, but it is maybe 5-10% of my property... looks like what you left in the toilet. Today with the warmth and rain should take care of it. The ice flow at the end of the driveway is still there...

I would trade 2014-2015 for just about any winter. I know it was condensed but so so good An analogy… 1 amazingly good meal cooked by a James Beard chef, or a weeks worth of tv dinners…

Despite March having the worse sun angle yada yada you can have a decent December and have it all torch away. 15” here this month and it is almost all gone.

I will be happy when that ice blob at the end of my driveway is gone
