  1. 44F Light to moderate rain. South wind gusting to 29mph
  2. 12Z GFS Tuesday. 3 snow events. Possible quick flip to snow this PM. Then the next 2 systems sliding by to the south give us two more chances coming up
  3. Wondering if I'll flip to a quick burst of heavy snow up here. Should be fun to watch it unfold
  4. Watching towering Cu go up is one of my favorite pastimes. People think I'm nuts when I keep glancing at a particular cloud.
  5. Lots of snow and grapuel showers around today. Briefly made it to 40F https://video.nest.com/clip/0ad37395b54f44b999a96451c5ded27d.mp4
  6. I need one or two more bumps to get me into the goods.. PF, do you like the new Weatherbell layout? I really like it now that I know how to use it.
  7. 36.5F Snow flurries noon April 16th.
  8. April sun, cold air aloft creating a nice popcorn effect over the NE
  9. It's comfortable in the sun and out of the wind but my high was only 44.3F. Bit too cool for me. Grass really greened up the past few days.
  10. Another wonderful April day in NNE. 34.5F at noon with occ. flurries and a gusty wind. Third day in a row of snow in the air. Most of the snow has melted below 1500 feet.
  11. Question for you guys from a friend of mine down in Maryland. Had a few flurries in the air this morning. Nothing accumulated. Would technically if something was observed in the air between hourly obs would it go down as a trace for the day?
  12. Just checked out your cam and saw the snow. Also snowing on the Waterville Valley webcam. Here 39/37F light rain
  13. 38.3/31 Will be fun to see how this unfolds for me. Not expecting much to accumulate but maybe hours when it's snowing or going back and forth
  14. Wish I could but I'm so untechy. Just looking at 12Z Euro. Splitting hairs but a bit better for you and me. Here is the weatherbell snow product 10/1. I don't pay attention to the amount but any trend. This is including any Friday AM snow too.
  15. I'll be watching Alex's cam the Loon cam,Waterville cam and the PSU plymouth cam. Snow rain line should be right through your area
  16. Grass just started to green on south slopes. Have not notice any bud swelling on trees or anything in bloom yet. Certainly no yellow forsythia. Still some snow patches in deep wooded areas. (Picture from yesterday)
  17. I really have not looked at later next week. I hope the airmass doesn't dive too far south since I'm guessing fruit trees are way ahead of schedule.
  18. Steve I'm not looking for much but maybe if the heights are crashing and snow growth is good at the end I'll get an hour or two of snow and wind. Still 48 hours out and trend is your friend. Since we are stuck in the house this will be a nice Thursday afternoon distraction from the virus.
  19. 12Z Euro looks better for me in Central NH. Bit colder and brings snow south perhaps 25 miles down to about Brian's if Im looking at it correctly. 975mb near Portland. Hugs the coast from N Mass all the way up to downeast Maine
  20. No mix or change to snow at the end? GFS has been a bit more bullish for me. 6Z Euro a bit better than the 12Z. I wouldn't mind an hour or two of heavy snow. Anything that would fall would be gone quickly so bring it on.
  21. I have been watching the late week system with interest. Will I have some snow or SOME snow? Interesting for Maine and perhaps Whites down to about me or Brian.
  22. Hum, snowy day Wednesday? 4 days out and it's April, lots could go wrong... Edit. No response from yesterday's post and it's 24 hours later. Wednesday doesn't seem like a big deal anymore and may go south but wow for Thursday. Bombing out low to our east.
  23. My town of Bridgewater has mostly dirt roads and very low taxes. Acess to a clean swimable NH lake was also important to me. Although I "only" average 80-85" of snow my retention is good because of cold air damning. Very rare to have bare ground in December through March. It's a balance of what you want in life, just snow and sking or closer to civilization. For me I lucked out picking this 15 acre plot. My other advice is to wait until we know how this pandemic works out. With sky rocketing unemployment land and home prices might plummet up here.
