  1. yup, I'm at about 6 here myself, friend sent a report from new Boston up the road at 7"
  2. looks like back edge approach, maybe another half hour or so under this little band, but damn, almost the best of the winter so far, but awesome that it was day time
  3. yeah noticed that too, round 1 is being compacted by the paste that's been ripping for a while now, so OTG total is a little different than what has fallen total.
  4. I'm pushing 4.5 storm total here, gotta be areas in the Berks over 6 by now, it's paste too
  5. I don't think yesterday, but last week this was showing as a legit storm and then got pushed to the 18th/19th, so they had a clue at some point
  6. closing in on 4 here, nice over performing event, if I can squeeze a couple tomorrow, I'll take that as a win...
  7. looks like about an inch new since the 2.4" 930 measurement... still about 1/4sm vis, and good growth.
  8. this is the pile up quick snow growth, hoping to get another inch or two now
  9. that area around the Hudson always gets some good upslope wringing out, as do the berks
  10. starting to pick back up nicely here again, maybe good for another inch if it keeps going, good slug of moisture SW of here
  11. hope so, i do like the H5 look I'm just weary of the kicker on its heels, it'll have to be some good growth to get 3-6 here
  12. I'd take that but have a feeling wor folks are seeing showers instead of accumulated snow with this one
  13. 2.5" otg from overnight, picking back up again, maybe we snow all weekend here, need some more NW bumps or precip field expansion I'll take
  14. man, East WV and adjacent VA are having themselves a winter, got a couple friends just west of Winchester VA, and it's been constant crushing there he said.
  15. I know it's only mid Jan, but I can't deal with another under 40" winter, only once in the last few years have I eclipsed 40" here, after the first two winters since moving to Winsted were 90"+, there's only been a couple seasons that were anywhere close to the average here. been big cold tho at times.
  16. it must have ripped while I was inside with my son at pitching clinic, because everything is coated good when we left and black ice everywhere, with a bad ABS mod, no AWD or 4wd, empty bed, I'm swinging all over the road, fun ride home.
  17. oof! I was a 2 stretch 3, when I got older, so basically a shooting guard and in college my center was 7'2" so I averaged like 15 dimes a night, that was fun, we barely had enough to field a squad but was fun...
  18. I been balling my whole life too, now I coach, both my sons teams, if it ain't half court I'm winded after a couple of up and downs, hard to find an over 50 league around here where I'm not being ankle broke by someone who was me 30 years ago, HA!. went down to harbor freight this morning and slipping and sliding until Torrington
  19. Agree, I'm not a big seafood fan anyway, also pineapple is a no go either for me...I grew up in a ginny home, with everything homemade, didn't have ordered pizza until I was like 8, and never had mozzarella cheese on one until I was old enough to buy it myself. the best was my nonnis pizza with fresh basil, tomato and fresh pecorino...also fresh pasta, man that woman could cook...pack is dwindling away, hopefully second half of the month brings goods...
  20. Meanwhile in weather, it's raining out washing the crap off everything...
  21. lot of members just outside the BM, if we can trend those NW we can all have some fun
  22. was thinking same, if barkhamsted got 48", which I question as well, Great Barrington isn't that far away to have 14" more, 5+ feet of snow depth?
