    I'm surrounded by 200 acres of woods, I usually treat my yard but still get a tick or two every year. I've gotten one on every part of my body, got one on my ass last year.

    I'd have to stay in my house all day to do that here.

    I spray myself with deet when I'm in the woods, me and my y brother took his dog for a walk on an old abandoned golf course and he had 11 on him. I didnt have any probably due to the spray.

    Snow sleet here, I know its going to flip but its nice to sit in front of the wood stove and see snow. better days to come this year.

    The birch trees in my front yard took a beating in oct 2011 and never recovered. Gypsy moths finished em off last year. Next year they're firewood.

    The small ponds had a solid coating of ice last week, dont see that too often down here.

    Gypsy moths creamed my white birch last year, only had two branches with leafs this year, I give it one more year and its firewood.

    Ha, we did the same thing at grammar school, there was a row of chestnuts and we'd throw sticks to knock them down and have chestnut fights, fun times until someone got hit in the eye.

    It warmed quick, I was up there last week and the temp at Ogunquit was 59.

    I lost 3 balls on drives I hit down the middle of the fairway Wednesday, I've never see the course so soggy in 20 years.

    Our league starts this week, weather looks dicey but theres always a week at the beginning that's miserable.

    There was a 2-3 inch difference in my area but there's also a 300+ feet in elevation variance. I was 14 at 715, lot of reports of 16 in the area in Connecticut and towns east of me.

    Pouring snow now, over two inches, goods are here, time for bed, I'll get up at 6 and see what we have.
