If you ever want to head out on one of the lakes in Brim/Brookfield just let me know!
sure will, you fishing shore or boat? I used to have a nice 15 foot bass boat but built a house so I sold it, looking to pick up another one, probably look for a 20HP so I have the option to take it to Quabbin.

We could set a record high low tonight, two more swamp azz days.

Been having too much fun fishing other ponds lately to head back to the Quabbin (never thought I'd say that). Hit Quaboag again the other day and had about a half dozen largies in the 4 lbs range along with about a dozen others. Forgot how much I missed throwing jigs in heavy grass and winching them out.
That's a nice fish.

My bro and I pulled in quite a few dogfish surf-casting after sunset last night. No stripers biting though.
You throw them back? On the party boats they used to break their necks and thrown them back for fish food. I heard they use them for fish and chips in England.

I've purchased pesticides from DoMyOwn over the past 8 years or so - their prices are competitive. Something must have happened though - DMO no longer sells anything to Maine addresses. I emailed their customer service and they responded quickly that Maine addresses will soon be serviced again. I also called the Maine Bureau of Pesticide Control and they didn't know anything about DMO , so it probably was a paperwork issue. Hopefully DMO will take care of what needs to be done soon.
You buy anything to get rid of violets?

96F 9/8/2015
All in the ballpark.
Not much difference between 98 and 101 with humidity, it all sucks.

Barnes with 3rd blown game in last 4. It’s incredible.
Pitchings letting them down.

Looks like it’s Whitlock tonight. He picked a great time to finally decide not to get everyone out.
Every night a different player regresses, it’s incredible!
That and bases loaded 2 outs and JD barrels a ball 395ft and the reason it’s not a grand slam is he hits it to the triangle in center. Perfectly placed fly out.
The relief pitching is painful to watch, they may pull this one out but it's not easy.

Not much action in this thread
haven't played yet this year getting the itch .
surgery for torn tricep tendon and removing bone spurs in March and got a sports hernia deadlifting at end June. THat plus buying selling homes and moving to Florida . Hoping to play soon once settled .
Plenty of places to play in Florida once you're settled. I have to get a hernia fixed but waiting til after golf season to get it done. Finally playing well, don't want to stop now.

Exactly why I stopped caring about sports many years ago. I got tired of being depressed about my sportsball losses and find my life much more rewarding without it
I've tried a few times but they always pull me back in.

Yikes, hate when that happens. Been pretty good up north so far, not many spiders.
More ticks than I have ever seen though.
Ticks here too, no centipedes this year but plenty of spiders even inside the house, I think centipedes eat spiders so maybe that's a good sign, spiders do have their use other than to scare the crap out of Wiz.
-
Was splitting wood from a pile of wood I bucked two years ago, biggest spiders I've ever seen, big brown wolf spiders, Wiz's nightmare, also ran into a hornets nest so had to call it a day.

Explored Quaboag today. Frog bite was on, had about a dozen, most of which 2-4 lbs. First cast I had a pike in the 15-20lbs range. 7'3 heavy jig rod with 50 lbs. braid, couldn't budge it. Stripped about 80-100' of line off. I had the drag almost cranked, put my thumb on the spool to slow it down and put a good slice in it, popped off in some grass after a 2-3 minute fight. Unreal, thought I was in salt water. I see why people ice fish for them now lol
2-year-old kiddo was very upset about the fish eating "Kermit."
I had a similar experience at Quaboag with a Pike, thought I had a huge bass at first, fun fight to bring it in.

How have I never heard of this site? It's a gem for products.
I've been using the Demon WP with good results the last few years. I had a wicked bad centipede infestation a few years ago during a long hot, humid spell and they got rid of them and anything else that got in the way. My basement concrete wall outside was literally covered in hundreds of centipedes every night, some would sneak into the house but the dry air from the AC would shrivel them up, still they kind of freaked me out with the number of them on the foundation.
